It's really simple to install, it's litteraly an executable that you click next a few times and you're done. I downloaded the torrent version of Darthmod the other day, it has both part 1 and part 2 included so it's nearly 3 gigs in size, not a small download. Īlso, NTW3 is quite good, new maps, new gameplay mechanics, all that awesome stuff.ĮDIT: LME 4 is also good, due to the various options available for campaigns to play, but doesn't quite have the amazing mechanics as Europe in Conflict, and I found the AOR to be of a lesser stock, although simpler.ĭarth mod is arguably the best mod for Empire out there I tried out Imperial Splendour for a while but got tired of the AI problems, and rediculous unit costs/upkeep. What it adds to the campaign is am amazingly extensive Area of Recruitment system, as well as disease, supply, manpower, foreign legions based off the diplomatic situation, and obviously great AI. I'd recommend Europe in Conflict honestly, best campaign mechanics with decent battle mechanics as well, and besides that it uses Josst's UAI mod, which is honestly the best AI mod out there. The AI honestly isn't good, check to see if it ever recruits light infantry (it doesn't). DM Napoleon seems to me to be more of an all in one type of mod, with placebo AI. Think we missed one?
